Living in the Phoenix area has a unique set of allergic reactions; air quality, dust, and things that seem to bloom all year around. This doesn’t necessarily make them season allergies, but another condition called non-allergic rhinitis.

On a fairly regular basis you will see stories on the news about bees. Another attack, and a person is stung dozens and in some cases hundreds of times.

It’s with great excitement that I welcome you to my new practice, Relieve Allergy Asthma & Hives, which officially opened and began seeing patients on March 27. I wanted to write a welcome and tell you a bit about myself and the practice.

When you wake up sneezing, coughing, and have that achy, feverish, can’t move a muscle feeling, how do you know whether you have cold symptoms or the flu?

The U.S. National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute mentions these potential signs that asthma is getting worse: Your symptoms become more severe or occur more frequently. Or they affect you more at night and interfere with sleep.

People with the syndrome experience uncomfortable sensations and strong urges to move their legs, which can be painful and disrupt sleep, according to Dr. William Ondo. He is director of the Movement Disorders Clinic at Houston Methodist Hospital.
